Antique Japanese Kyoto cloisonné box with dark blue navy enamel background on its top and sides. The lid has a beautiful scene of two birds, while a beautiful cluster of chrysanthemums arches over them... Inside of the box is a sign ”Kyoto” and 4 characters, see the image. Possibly made by Inaba. Dates from the Meiji period c.1900.
