1971 Rover P6 3500 sedan. White with Red Interior. 14758 on clock. Probably add another 100000K.
Very regretful to sell. I have to cover Funeral costs which I have paid. Promised money back but I shall not hold my breath.

Please read add carefully.

A lovely Original example.
The heart is the 3500 Buick V8 engine. Very healthy, Oil pressure is High either Cold or Hot. Nothing much needed when She came to me. Oil filter, Penrite Oil, New high Quality leads, Both Air Filters replaced, new plugs. Basic care.
Oil leaks are minimal, sweating from the Oil Pan, nothing apparent from the rear main but can't guarantee that one. Minimal.  I also changed the coolant, nothing has moved.

I grabbed an unreg permit when she arrived to me, the transmission is quiet and smooth as is the Diff.

The exhaust had a leak in a muffler, it was Original. I had the Entire Exhaust replaced which was mates rates at 1800. It is a work of art.  I had a double tip tail pipe fitted. It is close to Original in sound maybe a touch louder but absolutely Roadworthy.

Mechanical issues. The Brake Booster needs replacement, I have a Brand new one (see parts) which needs fitting. The handbrake needs attention. There must be other issues buy nothing that I know of.

Most external badging has been replaced with new items, all lenses are in excellent condition, all Electrics work. One rear globe on the number plate light is not working. The assembly has rust. I have a NOS assembly/gasket (see parts)..

Interior. The front seats have been retrimmed, original seat inserts retained. Brand new carpets both sides using high quality plush carpet, new underlay. Rear sets are original and in excellent condition.  A split on the dash on the drivers side. The factory Radio was removed by the previous owner. I have a choice of Radios, an early 70's Hitachi or a later radio with cassette. All the original radio brackets etc are with the car, all wiring is there, just needs fitting. The drivers seatbelt may need attention for a RWC (some fraying)
RUST. When the car was up on the Hoist for the Exhaust, I closely inspected. Nothing to mention. Only light surface rust under the boot. The battery tray did show signs, this was repaired and painted and is now perfect for RWC purposes. Externally nothing to speak of, light surface rust here and there in door jambs etc.But overall very clean
BODY. No rust to speak of. The Aluminum bonnet/boot has some hail damage. 2 minimal marks on the roof.  The paint is very good. The roof has some minor pitting. Some panels have been repainted over the years, the paint matching is good but not perfect. A repair on the passengers side front guard needs attention, no rust.
NOS PARTS / other parts.  NOS parts sourced from England.  All lenses (Lucas), Rear boot Emblem NOS, in the center of the boot where the spare wheel can be fitted, Last one, cost me 400 delivered. Front bonnet Emblem, Reproduction and brilliant quality, Both factory handbooks, Steering wheel Rover mould/fitting NOS, rear boot letters, got the last lot, R O V E R. NOS number plate light assembly and gasket. Hub cap centers, NOS centers.   Brake Booster assembly (Australia)
BOOT.  Some Cosmetics required (see pictures). The battery cover has a part missing to secure it in place.   The rear windscreen lower seal was replaced, the rear panel removed, no issues with rust. Fitted and replaced Easily.

She is a beautiful old Girl that needs a further loving home to finish things.   Tyres are at around 80% Tread.
HISTORY. Through the Rover Club, I discovered that this car was part of the FLYNN car collection and was sold at Auction after his death in 2016, a Mechanic in Sydney purchased her and later passed her on to a Public Auction site in Sydney, (Carbids) where I purchased her.  No books were with the car when she arrived to me.

I only sell for reasons stated Earlier. I do need a 'Reliable' Transaction to replace lost funds after a Funeral. Please Bid to Buy.

The car owes me over twice what the opening Bid is which is the Reserve price.

I have explained the car in detail honestly. Further questions, please contact me.

She can be driven home to any place. Please be mindful that the brake booster needs replacing,  She stops now, but you have to Lean on the brakes to do so.

No registration. No Roadworthy Certificate. Pickup is in Drouin, Victoria.  For interstate buyers, I shall meet with car carriers and help, at buyers Expense.

I have allowed 'Offers', nothing below the opening bid.  She's a good thing.
