This listing is for another unusual & rare, antique Limoges vase from my personal collection. This shade of blue reminds me of the old “Sevres Bleu de Roi” and is eye catching and elegant with its gold decorations. The ornately gilded Rococo handles enhance the raised gold paste decorations featuring a coat of arms on the front and musical instruments on the reverse. The mouth is gilded right into the body of the vase and raised gold beads encircle the bottom.

The vase measures 12 ½” tall, 6 ½” across the widest diameter and 4” front to back. Again, this is the only antique vase I have ever seen that is decorated in this manner. The vase is marked with a green Limoges mark used after 1891 and a red palette mark as photographed. This stunning piece remains in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other wear. The gold shows only the tinniest amount of wear to the highpoints of one handle from use and cleaning over the years. Please examine all of the photographs as they are considered part of the description and feel free to ask any questions that you may have…
