A single page, indentured assignment agreement made on 8 February 1878, and is between Henry Edward, Landon of number 9 Formosa Street, Paddington, in the county of Middlesex, Tailor of the one part, and Edward William Porter of number 2 Victoria Road, Aston, Birmingham in the county of Warwick, bankers Clerk of the other part.

The property is referred to as being that piece or parcel of ground with the messuage or dwellinghouse erected and built thereon hereinbefore particularly described and comprised in and demised by the said hereinbefore indentured lease of the 30th day of December 1853, and which said messuage is now known as number nine Formosa Street, Paddington, and is in the occupation of Henry Edward Landon, together with all the outbuildings, buildings, ways, Waters, watercourses, drains, sewers, walls, party, walls, lights, rights, easements, and apes whatsoever appertaining.

The consideration for the agreement is the sum of £600.

The document contains a blue blind duty stamp in the upper left periphery for the amount of £3.

The wax seals and the signatures of the parties found on the bottom margin.

Document measures approximately 28“ x 22.5“.
