This is a rare vintage Sony BE-V50 video cassette rewinder/eraser.

Comes with rewinder unit, original ac adapter, lid and instruction manual.

Item will be shipped in original box as shown in photos. As you can see original box is damaged but still in tact.

DESCRIPTION OF SONY BE-V50

The Sony BE-V50 video cassette accessory is designed for quick, easy rewinding and erasing of Beta video cassettes. It operates on 12 volts using the supplied wall transformer or by using eight size AA batteries. A battery cord DCC-16AW is available (as an option) for use with an automotive 12 volt DC system (negative ground only). Very desirable because it uses the sensing the foil leader at the beginning end of the tape to stop the rewinding action, instead of the common pop-n-stop method which can damage your tapes. Rewind time is approximately three minutes for an L-500 cassette.
