Amazing surviving black flapper day dress made of a heavy silk satin.

The dress has long sleeves with wrist cuffs closing with snaps. It's a drop waist with a satin band around the hips and three buttons to one side. The bodice crosses over and is tacked at the bust. Pleated skirt designed to hit at the knees, placing this dress sometimes around 1926-1928. There is a rough muslin lining on just the front of the dress. No closure and no shaping - pull on over the head.

Condition - Very good and very sturdy, easy to wear. (Hard to photograph!)
