A gorgeous collectable item. This antique press was used to mold butter in the early 19th century. It was used after butter was churned, to help shape it into a mold which could be turned out onto a serving dish or plate. The mold is a ribbed design.

The wood is in original condition. The mold measures approximately 4.5 inches tall x 6.5 inches long x 2.75 inches wide. The handle is approximately 7 inches tall x 4.25 inches long x 2 inches wide.

A beautiful piece of history. Please see pictures as they are part of the description. Thank you for looking!
