The third of three RX-78s delivered to the 1-bunch colony on Side 7.
It is said to have been built from the beginning with RX-78-2 specifications and tricolor coloring,

and was mounted on the White Base as a spare parts supplier for the second model,

and used as a test bed for magnetic coating.

Char’sRick Dom
In the novel Mobile Suit Gundam, the only Zeon military MS that appear are the Zaku and the Rick Dom.
The ordinary Dom does not appear at all in the novel version, as the White Base does not descend to earth at all.
Therefore, in this work, the Rick-Dom also plays the role of the Gelgoog (including the Gelgoog dedicated to Char)
and Geong in the original work.
