About This Items

  1. This is Seiko's masterpiece chronograph "Speed Timer" August 1973 Valuable early model. 
  2. Champagne gold Japan only.(Champagne gold is not a export model)

  3. The day of the week alternates between Japanese and English.
  4. When set to Japanese, the day of the week is always displayed in Japanese automatically.
  5. When set to English, the day of the week is automatically displayed in English.
  6. The letters of speed timer are on the left under SEIKO, but after 1976, the letters of speed timer in the middle are gone and it becomes two rows.
  7. The small black mark to the left of the day-of-week indicator indicates that the watch was manufactured at a factory in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture.
  8. The circle line is available in orange and yellow. This is orange.

  9. This is the first model with three rows of letters.
  10. The one with white luminescent paint on the hour and minute hands is an earlier model.

Condition

  1. Very beautiful item.
  2. Please note: It is old and does not have the original box or manual.
  3. Chrono function is functioning properly.
  4. Reset button must be pressed strongly.
  5. The bracelet is a genuine Seiko bracelet with extension.
  6. The buckle has scuff marks.
  7. Upper subdial:1-hour totalizer Lower subdial: 30-minute and 60-minute totalizers 
  8. Day date at 3 o'clock
  9. The calendar is in "Japanese/English" notation. 
  10. Pull the crown out one step to change the date, and turn it the other way to change the day of the week.
  11. The date and day of the week can be fast-forwarded by pulling the crown one step. The hands can be turned by pulling the crown 2 steps.
  12. The hands are deteriorated. The luminescence does not react to black light.
  13. The glass windshield is clean.
  14. The bracelet is a genuine Seiko bracelet, but it is short, so it has a "spacer" (spacer).
  15. It has not been moved regularly, so if it is to be used on a daily basis, I would recommend an OH.
