This listing is for a Vintage Mid 20th Century Jean Mayer (English - Israeli, 1924-2000) Studio Art Pottery Large 13.75" (35 cm) Tall Ceramic Stoneware Vase / Vessel.  It is signed with inscribed "Jean." and "ISRAEL" on bottom (photos 6-8).  Also has what looks to be some Hebrew words, which I cannot decipher.  Remnants of 3 yellow and blue labels on bottom.  Not sure what they are but I can see some Hebrew on them.  It has a horizontal fine ribbed / combed textured body with different tones of matte brown glaze.  Each side has a circular shape of raised bumps glazed in white.  It is a cylindrical shape at the bottom that is flattened into an oval at the top.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  Top rim and base edge are perfect.  One popped "bump" at top right of decoration (see photos).  Probably happened in the making.  No other issues.  Very clean.  Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description.  *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item).

It is very big, heavy, and fragile weighing over 5 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed.  *(I have a UPS shipping option listed along with USPS.  UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages.  So if the shipping price seems too high just send me your zip code and I will take a look).

     It measures 13 3/4" (35 cm) tall, about 6" x 2 7/16" (15.2 x 6.2 cm) across top rim, and about 4" (10.2 cm) at the base.

Please feel free to Email with any questions and be sure to check out my other MCM, glassware, pottery, and antique items.  Thanks!
