Up for auction is the pictured hard cover of the classic by Herman Melville. 

This is a very sought reprint of the 1979 California Press edition of Moby Dick. As the illustrations through out the chapters are simply beautiful and compliment the work of art which is the story itself. 

This copy has never been read, and it was bought new. The dust jacket has no rips or tears or creases. I have only opened it for the listing to take pictures of some of the illustrations, which speak for themselves.
