This is a rare and nice Mercedes-Benz C180 1993-1995 DTM competition large scale 1:5 RC car.
New body, very rare, painted like the original DTM car from the '90s - last photo is of the real car. You cannot get this 1:5 RC body to buy.
The body is mounted on a Harm 510mm wheelbase competition chassis. The chassis plate is brand new, never used!
The car has many nice, tuned and brand new parts as follows:
- NEW 3 shoe Lauterbacher competition clutch
- NEW adjustable diff
- NEW disc brakes
- Mecatech hydraulic brakes front and rear
- Zenoah G230 gasoline 23cc engine - runs great!
- Lightscale airbox
- Mielke tuned exhaust pipe
- NEW front and rear carbon fiber towers
- NEW 3D printed BBS wheels and tires - not for use, only for display!
I will also mount a front bumper and a carbon fiber rear wing before shipping.
This is a very nice RC car that can be used for racing or just for display. If you want to use it or race it, please use a regular set of wheels dedicated to on-road cars that you can get in any RC store. The 3D wheels the car comes with cannot be used while driving it!
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS A HIGH SPEED COMPETITION RC CAR, NOT A TOY! It may need adjustments for engine, brakes, chassis, suspension, etc. Due to the nature of the hobby, no returns accepted.
I would like to sell it cheaper, but as always, I would like to remind you that eBay keeps around 23% of everything the buyer pays (taxes, fees, VAT). eBay also taxes the shipping cost, which is... disappointing. It is getting harder and harder to sell stuff on eBay, also because of DAC7 law, that makes the European sellers to pay 19% more VAT of what they earn on eBay... So of the price of an item, I am getting only around 60% of what the buyer pays.
Also, I am sorry for the high shipping price. It will be a heavy large box. It is $250 for USA and $150 for EU, priority tracked and signed.
