At auction is a super rare 7" blue flexidisc vinyl record released in 1969 by the Philco-Ford Corporation. Titled "Voices From The Moon," it features spoken word recordings related to the Apollo 11 moon landing. 

This 33 1/3 RPM record is a recording of "The "Landing on the Moon by the Astronauts of Apollo 11, July 1969". The record is a one-sided thin vinyl sheet produced by "Eva Tone" for Philco-Ford. The back of the record jacket reads: "Better ideas in space and in the home". "Philco-Ford Corporation is proud of its role as prime contractor to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for the design and installation of the control center at NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston.

This unique piece of history was manufactured in the United States and is a must-have for collectors of vinyl records and space memorabilia.
