There is a medallion with depiction of the space capsule SCOTT CARPENTER M/A VII MAY 24, 1962. And on the reverse a depiction of the Rocket PROJECT MERCURY and the symbol for the project. The medallion has a reeded edge and is about 1 ½” across.

The patch is about 3” square and still in the original packaging. The Patch has embroidery MERCURY 7 AURORA 7 CARPENTER.
