Everyone knows that dogs have much more developed hearing than us humans: while a person is unable to hear some sounds, dogs perceive them perfectly.

While the human ear can hear sounds at frequencies up to 20 kHz, the ear of our dog friend, depending on size, breed and age, can hear sound frequencies ranging from 20 kHz to 60 kHz.

Therefore, it is important to adjust your Dog's Ultrasonic Whistle to the correct frequency suited to his hearing.

You can proceed this way: test the whistle while the dog is sleeping. If the sound does not cause any reaction, he adjusts his waist slightly and whistles again. If there is no reaction this time too, persist by changing the frequency of the sound again until the dog hears it and wakes up.

At this point, close the set screw to keep the whistle calibrated.
