Tea Length Wedding Dress Size 12 with Unusual Reverse Bolero - Two Looks In One.

This dress is a little bit different. It was bought online and then fitted and customised by a friend who worked for the Royal Ballet costume dept. She altered the hemline so it is higher at the front to echo a train and placed lace details across the waist band to add unique little touches.

It is satin underneath a beaded lace and chiffon overlay. It currently fits a 36 inch bust and has an elasticated hook and eye band inside with taped edge to keep it up. We managed a dance routine with a lift and it stayed in place throughout!

The bolero is my favourite bit - it gives you two very different looks without the cost of two dresses. I wore it for the service and reception and then took it off for the evening do. It has a quirky vintage style with a wide satin collar and covered buttons down the back. The lace matches the dress and has little pearl beads and clear sequins that give it a subtle shimmer. They are in good condition, although a few are loose (probably from the aforementioned dance rountine)! An easy fix.

It is a beautiful and flattering dress to wear - comfortable and easy to move in, but with a skirt big enough to still feel a little bit like a princess. It moves beautifully!
