Vintage Givenchy by John Galliano F/W 1996 Grey Pin Striped Wool Iconic Bow Suit

- In The South Bank Show (1997, S20.E13) interview John Galliano talks about this suit and explains how he designed it as a signature piece with inspiration from a 1950s Hubert de Givenchy design.
- The suit was first debuted in Galliano's first haute couture collection for Givenchy (Spring 1996), later it was also included in his first RTW wear collection for the brand (Fall 1996).
- Following year, the pattern of the suit was also released by Vogue Patterns.
