It is optically perfect with no scratches, fungus, haze, or other major optical faults. There is only very minimal dust less than what is typical for a lens of this age.

Cosmetic condition is shown in photos. There are quite a few scuffs on the body itself so please take a close look at the photos. The price reflects the less than perfect cosmetic condition despite being optically perfect.

Mechanical condition is very good. The focus is smooth and precise. The aperture is quick and snappy. The perspective control is smooth the only possible fault being that it is a bit too smooth and will shift under its own weight. This is pretty common with these lenses and is easily mitigated by simply holding the shift knob to prevent it turning.
