This beautiful vase is a stunning piece of contemporary art pottery. Created by Barry Crutchfield, it features an earth tone multi-abstract design with an ash glaze finish, attained by using a “saggar” firing technique.

Barry began his art career working for various pottery studios in California. His functional artwork was sold to numerous galleries and stores. In 1980 he began his own adventure, with his wife Terri and two daughers, and they opened Crutchfield Pottery. Taking most of their work to art shows around the country they built Crutchfield Pottery's solid reputation; winning numerous artist & product awards as well as producing a personal dinnerware set for Steven Spielberg. Crutchfield Pottery has provided beautiful-handmade functional and decorative pottery to homes around the country.
