Here is a vintage horse head sculpture in cased smokey grey glass, made on the Venetian island of Murano, Italy.

These types of sculptures were made by a few furnaces and are difficult to pin down to a specific maker, however this sculpture closely resembles the form and dimensions of Franco Bottaro pieces. Another possibility to consider would be V. Nason.

The sculpture unfortunately has a loss to it's ear. Other than that it is in very good condition with no other losses, chips, cracks or repairs.

The head measures 18 cm tall, 19 cm wide and 6 cm in depth.
