It’s fairly rare to find an Original UK 1967 Right Hand Drive VW Splitscreen with only 2 previous owners. 

I have owned the van longer than I can remember!

The engine:

Engine is a twin port 1600cc, running Twin “Baby Dell” Carbs

Spin on oil pump filter cover,

oil pressure/temperature/voltage gauges up front along with rev counter/tacho

J-Tubes and Stainless Exhaust,

Alternator conversion

chrome fan housing with heater flaps fitted.

Aluminium Pully

New Electric Fuel Pump

New Starter Motor

New Break Master cylinder / Pipes / Shoes / Drums / Cylinders all round

New Windscreen Glass

Empi shifter / wood rim steering wheel

Bodywork:

the bottom 12” all the way around was replaced along with the floors and I beams around 5 years ago, the van is solid, few bubbles showing in the paint here and there but nothing serious, painted in military slate grey vehicle paint (this was hand painted as I always wanted to be able to change the colour when I fancied), but looks pretty good and a small amount of paint is left which will be included in the sale for any touch ups 

Window tops were replaced with rust free ones with stainless steel quarterlights, and window runners and all fitting hardware is stainless where possible.

All seals, window rubbers, interior rubber such as handbrake boot and knee guard all replaced

Wheels:

The wheels are slotmags

The interior:

Rock and roll bed in the back, there is no bulkhead in the bus and the front seat is not original and can be turned around to face the rear so gives a real feeling of space, I was going to get and “evolution” flip seat to go in their but never got around to it.

 all the electrics and gauges work, There are LED lights throughout and lots of custom touches all around the van, smoothed deck lid / drilled handles / beetle wipe conversion…  in fact there are so many little things its hard to list them all, no seatbelts fitted in the back of the bus, not a legal requirement but might be wise to put some in .. i just haven't got around to it ..

It will likely need a proper tune up as i haven't used it properly for about 3 years, only local runs which have been fine, it starts and runs, steers and stops, no end float, no smoke or anything nasty sounding, electric fuel pump and "Malpassi fuel filter and regulator" fitted last year, along with new break drums, shoes, duel circuit master cylinder upgrade and all new break lines. 

front Drivers door underside needs attention, door hinge pins need replacing or alignment as I think the doors have dropped slightly so need a good slam to get them to close properly.
