This piece of history was created in the United States, 1860s and is addressed to Major William J Whitthorne in Shelbyville, Tennessee just prior to the civil war and may have been a part of the CSA (Confederate States of America). The cover was cancelled in a way that makes it special and interesting. It is an envelope from the American Civil War era and it is an opportunity to hold a piece of history in your hands. It includes a 3 cent stamp and the cancellation is in blue color. Experienced experts can benefit from it as it is ungraded and uncertified.
