Antique pocket watches are not my specialty so please bear with me on the description.
Antique American Waltham Pocket watch company gold filled pocket watch.
This pocket watch is in my opinion very good to excellent condition. I find no deep scratches or for that matter it is not all scratched up and no gouges etc. Also I find no scratches on the watch face / clear cover.
The front case where the dial is opens up by pushing the winder button on top, down it appears to be spring loaded. There is an empty place on the cover to have it monogrammed if so desired.
The watch is running and winds fine, I found it is gaining about 5 - 8 minutes a day roughly.. I did not attempt to adjust it or clean it except for when it was first found I cleaned the front and back off of dust.
The dial is in Roman numerals with a secondhand dial at the time marker " 6 ".
There are two case covers on the back, both with numbers which I took pictures of. Please use the pictures as the mainstay of my description.
The dial displays on its side, not like other pocket watches I have seen.
I measured the case with the winder on top... I measured across, it was 35mm from left to right.  If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
I also checked the web for a date and according to this number on the movement which is 14574342 this particular watch was made in or around 1905!
Please see last picture as it shows the dates of the serial number.
