Dream Guitar!!! 2006 Gibson ES-335 dot with amazing flame maple figured top in vintage Ice Tea. This guitar is in great shape and has major upgrades listed below. There are only very minor slight scratches that I could barely get to display in the photos. You need a magnifying glass to see them. I can't believe how good this guitar still looks. It comes with Gibson original hard shell case. The case has a few blemishes and slight tolex rip but 100% solid construction. The neck is not a chunky baseball bat neck. It is medium to slim depth. It plays so nice and smooth. The frets are 9 out of 10 and play fast. The figured top is gorgeous!!! Pickguard has a few scratches as expected from normal play. The top is 9.9 out of 10. This has been a studio only guitar and not played much at all. I'm only selling to pay for a vintage Les Paul. I'm more a hard rocker so I didn't use this as much as it deserves.
All upgrades are done by a professional and the only real wear is just the pickguard and that is normal pick marks.
1) Lindy Fralin hum cancelling p90s. These are great PUPs. I have several guitars with his PUPs and he does a great job with quality and tone. Big improvement over the stock gibsons. They make the guitar come alive.
2) Kluson vintage tuners. Very stable and more authentic looking than standard nickle gibson tuners.
3) Tonepros locking bridge and stop bar. Sounds great and your bridge/tailpiece won't fall off when you take all the strings off. These are in aged nickle to enhance the vintage look of this guitar as well as the tone.
