This beautiful mohair bear "Margarete" is crafted from the finest cream mohair, she was created to commemorate the 175th birthday in 2022 of Steiff's founder. She stands 12" tall, is fully jointed, wearing a double blue satin and delicate lace ribbown bow with a cameo pandant, sculpted with the first company elephant on wheels emblem from 1897 on it. Her paws are detailed with Margarete's signature and the other with her date of birth. She has a light brown hand embroidered nose and gentle dark eyes, with her gold plated "Button in Ear". She is limited to 1,847 pieces worldwide and comes with her numbered certificate, in her Steiff gift box, with her original protective cardboard outer sleeve and her original receipt. 

Margarete comes from an adult collector in a smoke free, pet free, child free home. She has never been displayed or played with and has been stored in a climate-controlled room. She is in excellent new condition awaiting her new home.
