"Bessie, the Brown Eyed Beauty" Vintage / Antique Doll German Bisque Head Composition Body 22" in length Head markings say the following: Simon & Halbig DEP. 1079 Germany 10 Beautiful condition doll. As photographed. Finger nail polish is no longer, but her fingers are all in tact. Her wig could use some TLC, but is not in bad condition. Eyes are fixed and do not blink. She can sit up all on her own without falling over. Her head looks to be without issues or cracks. Her body looks to be in good condition without any major issues as well. She has a few hairline cracks on the sides of her torso and minor cracks at the joint endings that seem pretty normal for a doll this old. All joints seem to be tight enough and not needing any repairs to the rope holding them on. The arms are just a little loose. The elbows and knees all are in great condition. Her facial painting all looks great. There are no markings on the torso or other parts of the body other than the back of the head. Unsure if the clothes are original. No earrings attached any more. Am not the original owner. Am selling it for her daughter, as that owner has passed. The dress is a very soft pastel peachy rose shade with satin ribbons and matching lace, as well as beads to adorn the neck area.
