Rare, Antique Russian porcelain figurine of a lapti plaiter, Miklashevsky Porcelain Factory, Volokitino, 1839-1862.

The shoe maker dressed in a white embroidered shirt, blue trousers and lapti, (woven bark shoes) similar as he is making.

He seated on a tree stump with knife and ax at his feet.

Rectangular base with red under glazed factory AM mark.

Condition is very good with some robbed off gold on the corners.
