Very rare original and different Dodge Brothers radiator badge emblem insignia nameplate. The Dodge Brothers started building cars in 1914 in Detroit. This trademark logo was first used in 1914, this emblem is uncommon in that it is made with a metal surface rather than the enamel usually seen. This rare emblem was only used for six months on 1928 models builr in 1927. I do not know exact model or application for this example. 1 5/8" diameter, face is etched german silver or stainless steel with black painted infill attached to a steel backing plate. No maker's mark visible. Very good used condition, no bends, dents, cracks, a couple small scratches. There is heavy paint loss but it displays very nicely. Mounting disc is intact and useable. Very hard to find, great for your collection, use as is on a driver or easily restored. U.S. buyers will pay $7.00 Ground shipping, International shipping cost will vary based on location. NO RESERVE. Please see our other auctions for more emblems and radiator badges.
