• In its current configuration with the center candle holder socket bolted on (as shown), this is a candelabra.


• Removal of the central candle holder socket allows wiring for use as a lamp base.


• Researching I found references- “The only documentation available for this L.E. Smith piece is a drawing dated September 23, 1949 that was submitted by L.E. Smith to the National Association of Manufacturers of Pressed and Blown Glass.”
