Triptych Tosa Mitsunobu "Tale of the Genji Scroll" 17th Century - Tales of the Genji Scroll - "Noble and Attendants," "Noble and His Family," and "Noble in His Bedroom - His Servant is Ready for Tea"

Paintings inside the frames are 7 inches x 4.5 inches and are 300 years old - have not been taken out of the glass frames since purchased initially in 1950s - some of the gold flake has chipped off inside the frame and slight fading here and there but still a beautiful example of the Tosa School of Japanese Painting Small Scrolls with gouache and gold on paper
