Water jug/pitcher in clear pressed glass, from around 1950s. The jug has a wavy spider-web pattern and a eight-sided rim and base, which has a moon-shaped pontil-style indentation. There is an invisible nick to the rim near the spout but otherwise the jug is in good condition, with few irregularities and air bubbles to testify its age. This type of jug was commonly used to dispense water alongside whisky. It is 5.25" tall and 7" from spout to handle. Quality period glass.
