ULTRA RARE original Terre Haute first pressing of this funk masterpiece on Reprise from 1974 with NO Warner credit in the lower label rim text and Loss Leaders inner sleeve with detachable mail-in coupon!!! LP is VG+/VG++ with a few light scuffs. Cover has a hint of wear in the bottom right hand corner and is still in the original shrink wrap with four sharp corners. Even has the original Rose Records (R.I.P.) price sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover. THAT'S provenance. VERY hard to find in this condition so don't sleep funk collectors. If you only own one Meters album this is the one to have. From Jungle Man to People Say, Just Kissed My Baby, Africa and Hey Pockey A-Way there isn't a dud in the bunch. I own just about every Meters album and this is the funkiest and by far my favorite. A masterclass in hard-hitting bayou funk. Absolutely essential listening. You will not be disappointed.
