   You are bidding on a 1849 Pacific Company California spread wing eagle five-dollar token maker T. On the front around the edge is written" PACIFIC COMPANY CALIFORNIA" with the date "1849" at the bottom. In the middle is an eagle with head facing left spreading wings and holding an olive branch in the right talon and a sledgehammer in the left talon. (Stamped T above the eagle's head). On the back of the coin is a Liberty cap (hat) on a pole with ten groups of three rays emanating from behind the cap toward the edge. Thirty stars are spread throughout the rays in straight groups of three. At the bottom is written "5 DOLLARS".  Unknown when this collectable souvenir token was produced for sale.
