This is a very clean Stew Mac Banjo from the late 1970s or early 1980s, believed to be 100% original.  Geared Planet tuners are in great working condition, the fretboard and chrome plating shows little sign of age.  Soft case included.  I love the mahogany and steel combination of components - the thick ply rim does an excellent job balancing the sound when playing in any location in the register for a brighter or warmer tone.
