Offered is a super-rare Robert Miller Clarinet Mouthpiece.  Made in Milwaukee in the 1950's, it is stamped "Rod Rubber" and "France" on the back, in addition to the maker's logo. This model has the "A" Frame tone chamber. There are some cosmetic damages - chips on the tip and on the right rail, but the table and bore are perfect. There are some ligature scratches and it needs a new tenon cork. It still plays beautifully, with an even tone and intonation and crisp articulation. This was played with great success and it could bring the same to you.

Robert Miller was a theater musician in the silent film days.  He studied clarinet with Gustave Langenus and later was proprietor of a music store in Milwaukee, where he began making mouthpieces.  He worked extensively with Bernard Portnoy and Robert Marcellus to develop the best American-made mouthpiece available.  He was also the co-author of the Rubank Intermediate Clarinet Method.
