This listing is for a Pair of Antique Fireside/Hearth Bellows.
Possibly date from the early 20th Century.Carries the manufactures plate of 'R.A.LISTER & Co Ltd,Dursley'.Listers' were largely manufacturers of Agricultural machinery at the time.Body appears to be made from Oak.Nozzle is turned brass.
Public House/Hotel related.Nicely carved on one side,with a image of the 'Saracens Head'...Possibly a old Stage Coach Roadside Inn.
Total length of 39".
As can be seen from the photo's,the bellows' leatherwork is badly worn/missing and will need renewal.Otherwise,the wooden body is in good condition,with no splits or major damage.A project that will be worth the effort of restoration.As such,sold for 'Spares or Repair'.
