This rare vintage Liberty puzzle is called The Bird Cage and is by Impressionism artist Frederick Carl Frieseke. The puzzle itself is in excellent condition and has 277 pieces.It is square when complete - 10.5" x 10.5". The box has shelf wear and the tissue paper is in great condition. All available to see in photos. I've been doing Liberty puzzles for many years and this is the only copy of this puzzle I've ever seen. Of course my memory may be deceiving me, :)

Shipped USPS priority mail. I place bubble wrap inside of the puzzle box and the puzzle is wrapped in bubble wrap or other protective covering. I ship the puzzle in a box protected with additional bubble wrap and/or other protective packaging. I buy bubble wrap and Fragile stickers to ensure that your puzzle gets to you in the same condition as it left my home. Frederick Carl Frieseke was called the master of American Impressionism. He was an American artist who was born in Michigan in the 1870s but spent most of his career in France studying the great Impressionist painters. He was a part of the Giverny Art colony and focused most of his art on the way sunlight changes the scene, sunlight impressions. His work won many awards and he was given many honors during his career from American institutions, even though he didn’t reside there. He chose to live as an expatriate in France until his death in the 1930s.
