For sale here is a 1990’s vintage commercially made DPM assault vest, before the PLCE assault vest went on general issue these commercial vests were hugely popular with British troops in the 1990’s as private purchase items especially for those leaving for a stint in Northern Ireland or Bosnia/Kosovo/Macedonia.

There were a good number of outfits making these vests in the 90’s, this one is by a lesser known player MAGRO Sports Equipment and it was manufactured in the UK.

This particular vest has a rather novel design in that the upper utility pouches attach via Velcro and press studs and are fully removable and repositionable.

Typically these vests were made as a one-size-fits-most affair and this is no exception, there is no size labelling but it is adjustable on the shoulders and around the waist.

CONDITION: Vest is in serviceable used condition, it has been issued and worn so it is not mint, there are some pen markings indicating name and rank of the original owner, general wear to the nylon and one side of the seam stitching at the side is coming apart (See photo, a very easy repair to do). Otherwise all clips and zips seem fine and there are no major issues to note, photos show the ACTUAL vest you will receive.
