3 natural Alexandrite's.  Deep colors with nice brilliance. 1-2mm

Love mother nature don't be fooled by the fakes.

Often described by gem aficionados as “emerald by day, ruby by night,” . Originally discovered in Russia’s Ural Mountains in the 1830s, it’s now found in Sri Lanka, East Africa, and Brazil, but fine material is exceptionally rare and valuable

Alexandrite, with its chameleon-like qualities, is a rare variety of the mineral chrysoberyl. Its color can be a lovely green in daylight or fluorescent light. This is a result of the complex way the mineral absorbs light

Welcome to "Andy’s Garage Sale".  Andy, Andrew, is my father, who was a gem dealer, gem enthusiast, gem lover and inspiration to many in the gem world for over 40 years.  Andy was a main attraction at many gem shows, people loved him for many reasons.  He had an amazing gem collection with some of the world’s most unique gemstones on display, a mesmerizing Hungarian accent and the "Garage Sale".  Andy loved gemstones so much he wanted everyone to have an opportunity to appreciate and own gemstones of their own.  So he created the "Garage Sale", for those starting their gemstone collections, jewelry students and for the average person who couldn’t afford the “big ones” but none the less appreciated these beauties as much as he did.  He loved gemstones so much he wanted to share his joy with everyone.  Andy would have a whole table dedicated to these gemstones, admirers flocked from miles around to see what Andy would put out in the “Garage Sale”.

Many times I manned the Garage Sale at gemshow’s, and people had so much respect for Andy doing this for them, allowing them to fulfill their gemstone dreams, what a great guy.  Andy went to gemstone heaven in 2012.  I’ve decided to bring back Andy’s Garage Sale!!!!  I miss my dad every day but am thrilled to carry on this part of his legacy.  Andy’s favorite thing to say “More Color the Better”.  He had an amazing talent for combining colors that no one would ever dream of, but they worked.  So I’ve created these colorful combinations that hopefully will make you smile and my daddy proud.  After 40 years in the business he collected many different objects related to the gem trade, hence passed on to me, passed on to you.  I hope you will enjoy these treasures in honor of my dear Andy.
