Hard to get print in 16mm and this title was left off the Tex Avery Blu-ray collection. This is an original MGM lab print- not a dupe that have been floating around and are mostly now faded.  It is 100% complete and nothing edited out. And, yes, the print has turned red, but it’s a great cartoon nonetheless and the fun and laughter aren’t diminished because of it. (Just look at my frame grabs and it will bring a smile or laughter to your face.)   Fans of the red-headed bombshell, -seen here as Little Eva- will enjoy her belting out a song while there are outrageous gags going on as Simon Legree absent mindedly eats anything and everything that is put before him. One of Tex Avery’s best which should have made it onto the Blu-ray discs but didn’t. Condition of this print is excellent without any lines or splices. No VS.
