Antique French large plate from Limoges.  Beautifully hand painted and in good condition for its age - no chips, cracks or any restoration.  There are small, barely noticeable age wears.  Please look at the photos carefully and ask me any questions you have.

the green mark (known as the Coiffe 7-point Star mark #2) was used from 1891-1914.  See Mary Frank Gaston, Collector’s Encyclopedia Of Limoges Porcelain, 3rd edition. Consequently, this piece is dated to approx. 1900-1912.  [L. Coiffe founded the prolific Limoges porcelain factory and studio during the mid-1870’s and his son, E. Coiffe, assumed the operation in 1887 continuing until the mid-1920’s.  Porcelain bearing the Coiffe white ware mark, and an exporter mark were most likely decorated in house at the Coiffe studio.]
