Antique Willow French Woven Stick Stand with Grape And Vine Moulded Decoration. Researching I believe this to be french woven willow a very fine stick stand a complete one-off and an exciting find. The patina of its age is clear to see it is dusty and dark with use and has a slight lean to its shape. It is gently painted with gold that is still visible on it in places which leads me to think it’s possibly circa 1920s. It has heap and vine mouldings in green raised relief some having broken off in places - it’s distressed look is divine it’s a beautiful basket and such a characterful piece it will not disappoint.

Size is 23” x 12” dia and it’s very sturdy

Please study photos for condition it’s clearly very old and has been well used but it’s still intact and functional I’m totally in love with it

So? Do you need a tall basket to set in the corner behind the coat tree?
