This is original Minelab product and still new in packaging.
The coil cover is a cheap way to protect the expensive coil as they slide across the ground.

I train customers on their gold detectors in the goldfields for a living.  So many folks hold their coil 2 to 3" off the ground when swinging.  Why do you want to hunt the same areas for gold as all your friends and club members and be getting 2 to 3" less depth?  Keep the coil to the soil so you can find the smaller nuggets and or bigger deep ones others miss. Skim your coil across the ground and you'll fo much better at finding treasures.  Sure you wear out a cover every so often, but that's exactly why they make covers to snap onto the bottom of your coil.  It's to protect the high dollar coil.  Also, a cover added a layer of shock absorption when bumping into rocks along the sides of the coil.

This new cover fits the standard 11" round Minelab coils for the old SD series, the old GP series and the last GPX series (not for the 6000).  It also fits the black 11" coils that were used with the GP-Extreme.
Both Minelab 11" MONO and DD coils use the same cover # and this will fit both.

Attached pics show some of the coils this cover fits.  Those pis of customers gold and treasures are for reference purposes only and not part of the sale.
