Gorgeous Chinese vintage carved Duan Ink Stone in wooden box in fabulous condition. The ink stone is carved with a waterlily design. The box lid as well as the ink stone are wonderfully tactile. Box measures 10.5cm W at widest point and 14.5cm L. An ink stone is a stone mortar for the grinding and containment of ink or paint pigments for a calligrapher or painter.
