This is a rare and valuable collector's edition of "The Histories" by Herodotus, published by The Easton Press in the year 2000. The book is a hardcover edition with a beautiful leather binding. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this gem to your collection.

My Father-In-Law cherished his book collection and put his personalized nameplate in the front of the book and two personalized embossed stamps in the front and back of the book.  The nameplate has been removed and left a very small amount of label residue behind. I can't really see it, but if I run my hand over the cloth page, I can feel it. There is a small scrape of the gold gilding on the lower right bottom corner of the page edges. See pictures for additional details.  This book is in excellent condition with gold gilding on the page edges, binding, and front and back of the book, a silk/satin bookmark, and leather binding.  It has not been read and is from a smokefree home.
