This vintage Lledo 1947 Railton Mobil Special model is a must-have for any car enthusiast. Made of white metal and manufactured in the UK in 1993 by Lledo, this detailed model is part of the Lledo Land Speed Vehicle series - in conjunction with Kellogs - and features an advertising specimen of the Land Speed Records theme. The silver colour and 1947 vehicle year make it a great addition to any collection, and it's suitable for ages 17 years and up. The model features "Mobil" logos and was driven by the legendary John Cobb. Perfect for collectors of contemporary manufacture, diecast and vehicles, and toys and games in the Cars, Trucks & Vans category. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this rare item to your collection.

Lledo was a British manufacturing company founded in 1982 by Matchbox co-founder Jack Odell, based in Enfield, England. The factory produced mainly die cast models rom 1983 to 1999, when the company went into receivership.

"Lledo" was a reversal of Odell's own surname, a mnemonic device from war days in the African desert so as not to forget his wireless call sign!

The diecast all metal body is in very good condition for an unboxed toy of this vintage with good transfer decals/logos and plastic wheels/chassis all good.

From a smoke free home. All items with me in UK so no air miles and low carbon footprint. I post 2nd Class and use recycled packaging wherever possible.
