Halycon/EE Pro 14 Canister Cave Diving Light Lid, Umbilical cord + reflector only

I am selling my working and recently serviced Halycon/EE Pro 14 as constituent parts. This listing is for the lid, umbilical, bulb slug, glass, reflector, and associated spares. It has had new Halcyon o-rings installed and tested as working. It does NOT include the canister or battery pack. Canister has already been sold.

Prerequisites: You will need a Halycon Pro 14 canister and battery pack to use this item. It will likely not fit any other canister or battery pack.

The complete light was bought in July 2000 from Extreme Exposure, has done around 50 dives approximately in UK quarries & sea & Florida fresh water caves. In VG condition. Some minor scratches to the transparent acrylic canister lid. Light reflector is metal and the inside of the reflector has some minor scratches on it. Adjustable reflector. Umbilical cord is in very good condition. Comes with original manual and invoices for all new parts used. I will also include all files on a CD. All new Halcyon gaskets for the battery lid and the light head. Also includes new bulbs: two Osram 50W bulbs as well as an Osram 100W bulb (installed). Bulb slug assembly glass in excellent condition and includes spare unused bulb glass tube. Tested working (not pressure tested and only switched on out of water for long enough to take a photo then switched off).

115.5mm inside diameter where gasket sits
9.75mm from inside diameter where gasket sits to outside diameter. This is a best estimate. It is almost 10mm, quite a bit more than 9.5mm using tape measure.
135mm wide approx. - outside diameter - cannot hold ruler or tape measure flat against it on either side - it looks to be 135mm by sight alone; and also adding 115.5 + 9.75 + 9.75 = 135mm (with +/- 1.5mm margin for error as adding 3 figures together)
24.5mm thick (perspex/polycarbonate only - excluding electrical parts and side clips)
16.5mm thick on outer edge, not including inner section that drops down inside canister
3mm thick gasket

All measurements are around +/- 0.5mm unless otherwise stated, measured as accurately as I was able to (I do not have calipers).

Upgraded/Replaced Components:

Halcyon o-rings (2 for bulb slug seal, 1 for bulb slug bump stop for pressure compression, 1 for light lid)

100W bulbs will give half the burn time. Please note the 100W bulb burns hotter than the 50W bulb as you would expect and if you operate in on dry land, do not do so very long or the bulb will get too hot. The photo of the light switched on, I decreased the shutter time or it would have been totally overexposed, so the photo looks like it's taken in the dark but it was actually during the daytime so you can imagine how bright it is IRL.

I do not have pressure testing equipment available did a proper job with all the gaskets and they have all been lubed sparingly with silicone grease (in February 2022).

Disclaimer: This lid is designed for use with the Halcyon Pro 14 Canister only. If you are intending to use it with any other canister it may not fit properly. If you do wish to use it as part of a project, the risk is on you regarding fitment, and I have provided approx. dimensions for this purpose.

Shipping Method – normally ship using the shipping method described in the listing unless a better shipping offer is available. For domestic orders, may sometimes use Royal Mail 2^nd Class instead of Hermes & vice versa, although this is not the norm. International – use Ebay’s Global Shipping Programme (GSP) for everything, where I ship to Ebay’s GSP Centre in Lichfield WS13 8SU, & ebay’s delivery network forwards it to the buyer in the destination country. I may or may not upload tracking for the UK leg of the journey (as it sometimes confuses) but ebay will email you directly with delivery updates once it enters the Ebay GSP network. On some items I offer Royal Mail International as a shipping option in addition.
Delivery Instructions –please provide a shipping address where someone is in during working hours if possible, & contact me with any safe place instructions if Hermes is specified. Hermes make 3 delivery attempts before the item is returned to sender, but should leave a card each time, allowing you to reschedule or specify a different address. If the item is returned to the sender, then I cannot refund the shipping.
Item Did Not Arrive – Contact me if the item has not been received within a reasonable time frame & tracking information is missing for trackable deliveries, the item may have been lost in transit. If the tracking information states that the item has been delivered but it has not, it is critical to look around the property (including inside wheelie bins) & to talk to neighbours asap (in case it was misdelivered) & contact me asap so I can chase up the courier to raise an internal investigation, providing all relevant information.
Returns – All used items come from my own personal collection, are described as accurately as possible & have been tested working if possible. New items have been purchased by myself from retailer or manufacturer. No returns unless not as described upon receipt (i.e. inaccurate description or damaged in transit). Contact me in the event of a problem, elaborating on the nature of the issue & be willing to work with me to adequately diagnose the problem (if a fault) prior to raising an eBay return request. Evidence of the problem is required (photos or video).
