It is solid sterling silver, as can be seen with the Birmingham assay office hallmark for 1916.
It weighs approximately 67g. The makers mark is W&S, for Wilson & Sharp, as shown.
The piece is 5 cms in height and the diameter of the top rim is 10.5 cms. It has a nice look and feel to it. It is in overall average antique condition, but there are a few small dings on the rim which are hard to see and a tiny bruise to the inside of one foot. This is an old piece so please do not expect it to look like new. In saying that, the silver polishes to a high gloss shine and it displays well.
