A vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Th IV theodolite serial number 57036 with no case. This is from a private collection estate clearance and I have more scientific instrument collectables from the same clearance listed separately. These were produced in 1939 in Germany and it was possibly used by the British military during WW2. It's not tested and being sold as not working for parts. One of the screws looks to be bent out of shape (photos 21-22; same area from different angles). The brass lens cap has a build up of verdigris inside and is a tight fit. Please note there are reflections off the lens in the photos. There's scratches and scuffs commensurate with age and use. Everything that's included is in the photos.
