1967 MERCEDES 230SL PAGODA
For sale is my 230sl, rare three “kinder” seat pagoda. I imported it from Canada in 2019 but from the homologation report i acquired from Mercedes, it originally started its life in Germany. I bought it as a light restoration project, but due to purchasing a property, I had to put that on hold. After sitting in storage for the past few years without much progress other than a new soft top and a new alternator, I decided it was time to sell it.
The undercarriage is all in good condition from what I remember, but as I remember welding was needed behind the rear nearside wheel under the arch. A full report will be done prior to sale if offers are in very close region of the asking price. I know there will be nothing major to fix on this car. The interior is perfect, and it has the rare third seat. Paintwork all round is fairly good, would recommend resprays on some panels on the offside where there is some scratches. Otherwise the paintwork is in presentable condition.
